Ceramic Coaster Manufacturing Process

Premium ceramic clay is precisely mixed with minerals and water to achieve optimal plasticity, porosity, and strength. Consistent composition ensures uniform absorption and firing characteristics across all coasters.
Hydraulic presses compress clay into uniform coaster shapes with precise dimensions and controlled density. This method creates smooth surfaces ideal for sublimation printing while maintaining proper porosity for absorption.
Ceramic blanks are fired in industrial kilns at 1200°C (2192°F) for several hours. This bisque firing hardens the clay, creates the absorbent porous structure, and prepares surfaces for printing and glazing.
Advanced heat transfer technology bonds custom designs into ceramic surface at molecular level. Full-color graphics, photos, and logos become permanent part of coaster with exceptional detail and color vibrancy.
Food-safe ceramic glaze is applied to protect printed designs and enhance appearance. Coasters undergo second firing to fuse glaze, seal surface, and ensure design permanence while maintaining base absorbency.
Natural cork pads are precision-cut and adhered to coaster bottoms for surface protection. Each custom ceramic coaster undergoes absorption testing, print quality verification, and dimensional inspection before packaging.
